This week, MultiplaiTech had the incredible opportunity to attend the YPO Global Leadership Conference, marking its 75th anniversary. With over 3,500 CEOs and business leaders from around the globe gathered to discuss technology, Artificial Intelligence, health, and the future of work, the energy in the atmosphere is truly electric.
A Week of Innovation and Learning
The conference has been a whirlwind of activity, with sessions so packed that it’s often hard to get a seat! As we delve into the intersections of health and AI, I’m thrilled to share some of the standout moments and insights from these last couple of days.
Engaging with Thought Leaders
One of the highlights was a presentation by Google’s head of business strategy. In an attempt to showcase AI’s capabilities, the voice AI they introduced didn’t perform as expected—a reminder that, no matter your expertise, AI still requires ongoing testing and adaptation. This transparency is refreshing, hinting that AI’s journey is full of ups and downs, just like our own.
Jeff Woods, author of AI Driven Leader, also shared his unique methodology for integrating AI as a strategic partner. By establishing a context, role, interview, and task approach, he demonstrated how AI can help create detailed personality profiles of board members. This method empowers leaders to leverage AI in predicting outcomes and making informed decisions based on past presentations.
The Future of AI: Hybrid Intelligence
Perhaps the most groundbreaking insight came from a conversation with Angelo D’Aloia, Chief Scientist at Umni. He introduced the concept of hybrid intelligence, a novel approach blending neural symbolic AI. This innovation seeks to bridge the gap between traditional machine learning/AI and human-like decision-making.
Angelo emphasized that only a handful of organizations are currently pioneering this technology, which promises to allow AI agents to operate autonomously while synthesizing human-like reasoning. It’s an exciting horizon that’s sure to transform how we engage with AI in our businesses.
Announcing Deputy: Your New AI Assistant
As we look to the future, I have some exciting news to share. We’re on the brink of launching Deputy, our new desktop AI agent designed to take on tasks for you. Unlike other AI tools that may come with steep costs or geographical limitations, Deputy will be accessible and free for single users.
This innovative AI tool will allow you to execute tasks on various websites and manage your desktop activities seamlessly. Imagine controlling your computer by simply chatting with it—no APIs required.
